What are equivalent fractions?

Today I'd like to explain what equivalent fractions are. To do this watch this clip to discover the meaning of an equivalent fraction.

So can you tell me all the different ways one whole can be represented? How many ways can you show me?

    Thanks for posting this video Neelam. I'm not mathematically inclined and had forgotten "technically" what one was - but now I have had the refresher I think the answer would be infinite, as it would depend how many equal parts the whole was divided into.
